Guruvayurappan Institute of Management (GIM) organized a One Day National Conference on “The evolving perspectives on Branding – what holds for the future?”on 6th January 2017 at GIM Campus, Coimbatore.
Mr. Ravindranth, Director, BBDO inaugurated the National Conference by lighting the lamp. In his Key Note address, he highlighted that Brands have evolved over the years and the process of branding gains significance in all walks of life. He opined that one cannot really predict the future of branding, but that it will continue to remain a challenge for all organizations and entities involved in marketing.

Dr. Thomas T. Thomas, Director, GIM presided over the function. Mr. Vinod Urath. Faculty Coordinator discussed the outline of the Conference and the relevance of the theme.
The inaugural session was followed by two technical sessions. Further, Papers were presented in various topics related to the theme and were deliberated upon by the Delegates from various Institutions in and around Tamilnadu.
Feedback was received from various delegates. Dr. Thomas T. Thomas, Director, GIM distributed the certificates to the delegates. Mr. Vinod Urath, Faculty Coordinator, GIM, proposed the Vote of Thanks at the Valedictory session.
