Mr. Revindran, Managing Director, Silicon Controls Pvt. Ltd, inaugurated the fourteenth edition of the mega event ‘GIM FEST ‘19 by lighting the lamp on 01st March 2019 at the GIM premises. In his Inaugural address, he highlighted the need for Purity, Commitment and Persistence as the essential traits of a successful Managers. He urged the students to engage with the real time enterprises and build a positive attitude of contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the industry that they work for:

Mr. Rajkumar Narayanan, Faculty Co-ordinator introduced the event. Ms. Sruthi N, II MBA student, coordinator of the GIMFest’19 proposed the Vote of Thanks.
GIMFest, the Annual Inter-B-School Meet conducted by Guruvayurappan Institute of Management (GIM), is a mega-event where aspiring managers from major B-Schools of South India conglomerate. It is designed to provide a platform where future corporate leaders get to compete with each other, to fine-tune and hone their diverse managerial skills. This event is organized by the students of GIM, but they do not compete in the games.
The Theme for this year is “TORRANCE 2K19” – Leading Edge.
About 146 students from 18 B-schools from different parts of the country took part in this event. The Event started at 10.00 am and the various events, with a series of rounds, were conducted simultaneously in different venues. The finalists of these events clashed for the title in the auditorium.
The major events conducted were –
· CEREBRATION – Best Manager
· PHYGITAL – The Marketing Game;
· DRONES – The Logistics Game;
· HACKATHONS – The HR Game;
· FINTECH – The Finance game;
· BABELE – The Best Management Team, and
· RADOSS – Creativity Game
The daylong event concluded with a valedictory function at 4.30 pm, when the Winners, Runners up and Participants were presented with the Cash Awards and Citations. Mr. Rajkumar Narayanan, the Faculty Coordinator, Mr. Krishnasankar P and Ms. Sruthi N of II MBA, the Student Coordinators ensured that the programme was conducted in an excellent manner.
