The 21st batch of MBA programme was inaugurated at GIM on 17th August 2016. Dr. U. C. G. Namboothiri, Chairman, Sree Guruvayurappan Educational and Charitable Trust, (SGECT) inaugurated the 21st MBA Batch by lighting the Kuthuvilakku. Dr. N. Maheswaran Bhattathiripad, Treasurer, Sree Guruvayurappan Educational and Charitable Trust (SGECT) presided over the function.
Dr. U. C. G. Namboothiri in his inaugural address advised the new students to whole heartedly participate in the educational process in the Institute, to develop their skills, get more knowledge and change their attitude for the better. He stressed upon the need for language skills and highlighted the importance of participative learning experience of the students. He assured them that GIM focuses on quality and expect everyone to complete the MBA programme with enhanced quality and skills.
Dr. Thomas T. Thomas, Director, GIM, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Thomas, in his special address highlighted the achievements of the Institute and called upon the students to work hard. He also requested the parents to be actively involved in the development of their wards and support the Institute in delivering the required inputs appropriately and effectively. He also greeted all the new entrants and their parents who participated in the inaugural programme.
Dr. N. C. Balakrishnan, Professor, GIM and Mr. Kiran K. Renajan, President, VISION (GIM Students’ Management Association) felicitated the new students. Parents and Guardians of all the students of the new batch of MBA participated in the function.
