About GIM

Guruvayurappan Institute of Management established in the year 1995, is affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.
GIM strives to position its young managers as effective leaders in the global corporate arena. While basic knowledge is imparted, through core courses and the various electives that span four semesters managerial skills are also developed. GIM has been awarded ISO 9001 : 2015 Certification for its quality in performance and delivery through a series of co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes.
The Pedagogy involves audio-visual methods, lectures, discussions, case studies, group activities etc, Which help enhance better understanding, awareness and familiarity with the various subjects. Computer literacy is imparted to all our students. We strive to make our students MBA+’, with the ‘plus’ representing characteristics such as competence, confidence and compassion. We ensure all this and more, through constant reviews and continuous action for the attainment of academic and behavioral excellence.

GIM INFRASTRUCTURE
Guruvayurappan Institute of Management is situated at Navakkarai, a small township approximately 18 kms off Coimbatore and 30 kms off Palakkad close to the Coimbatore-Palakkad highway. With lush farms and coconut groves forming a vibrant and serene backdrop, the extensive GIM campus is a picturesque and learning friendly environment.. Today, GIM is functioning on a 11 acre campus with excellent facilities, exclusively for the MBA Programme. The proximity of GIM to the industrial areas of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and Kanjikode, Palakkad in Kerala ensures ample access and opportunity for field research and practical training.
The Institute is laid out in a traditional design and is home to one of the best independent management libraries in this area. The modern computer lab and the wi-fi enabled campus helps students to be well connected with the world and surroundings.The institute is conscious of its responsibility to the environment and has over the years encouraged tree planting inside the campus resulting in a vibrant ecofriendly campus.
