GIM Hosts “Echoes & Endeavours 2025 – Alumni Connect” to Celebrate Memories, Milestones, and Togetherness

The Guruvayurappan Institute of Management (GIM), Navakkarai, Coimbatore, successfully conducted “Echoes & Endeavours 2025 – Alumni Connect”, a vibrant event that brought together alumni, faculty, and students to celebrate shared memories, professional achievements, and meaningful connections.

The event began at 9:30 AM with a warm welcome to the participants, setting an atmosphere of enthusiasm and inspiration. The highlight of the day was the engaging sessions by distinguished alumni speakers — Mr. Naveen Kumar R., Regional Head, Kerala, Astral Limited, and Mr. Jayadev S. Menon, HR Location Lead, IBM Coimbatore. Both speakers shared insights from their professional journeys, inspiring the gathering with lessons on leadership, perseverance, and lifelong learning.

The event was presided over by Dr. Vinod Urath, Principal, GIM, who expressed appreciation for the alumni’s ongoing connection and contribution to the institution. He emphasized that events like Echoes & Endeavours play a vital role in fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth among the GIM community.

The program was skillfully coordinated by Ms. Sruthy K, Faculty Coordinator & Assistant Professor, GIM, with dedicated support from all faculty members, teaching and non-teaching staff, and the media team, each of whom received a token of gratitude for their valuable contributions to the event’s success.

As part of the celebration, Paper Presentations, Debate Competitions, and Fun Games were conducted, featuring four teams each in the competitive events. These activities encouraged analytical thinking, communication excellence, and team spirit among participants, reflecting GIM’s commitment to holistic learning and leadership development.

The event concluded with an interactive networking session, where participants shared experiences, exchanged ideas, and celebrated the enduring spirit of the GIM family. “Echoes & Endeavours 2025” stood as a testament to GIM’s continuous journey of academic excellence, professional engagement, and institutional pride.
