FOUNDERS’ DAY PROGRAMME AT GIM

Dr. N. Krishnan Bhattathiripad & Emeritus Prof Dr. M. V. Pylee,
Memorial Lecture conducted on 15th March 2025

“Guruvayurappan Institute of Management organized the Founders’ Day Programme, in memory of the founder Chairman, Dr. N. Krishnan Bhattathiripad, Former Chairman, SGECT and Emeritus Prof. Dr. M. V. Pylee, Former Chairman, Governing Council, GIM on 15th March 2025.
This year, the Memorial Lecture was given by Mr.C. Devidas Varier, Managing Director, The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (CBE) Limited, He talked about “Business and Management of Health : The Ayurveda Perspective”.
Dr. Vinod U, Principal, GIM, Welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Maheswaran Bhattathiripad, Treasurer, SGECT presided over the function. Dr. N. Maheswaran Bhattathiripad spoke about Dr. N. Krishnan Bhattathiripad, his brother, and remembered the energy, drive and enthusiasm of his brother for the institutions’ success. He remembered how Dr. Krishnan gave everything that he had to help this Institute take shape and see it through its initial phase of growing pains.
Mr. M. K. Krishnan Namboodiripad, Secretary, SGECT, reminisced the late Padhmabushan Prof. Dr. M. V. Pylee. He recollected his contributions to the development of GIM as a premier Institution in the field of Management. He remembered how Dr. M. V. Pylee got associated with the Institution and how his leadership helped GIM to scale heights.
