PONGAL CELEBRATIONS AT GIM

The members of the GIM Family celebrated the Pongal Celebration in the Campus on 09.01.25. Dr. Vinod U, Principal, GIM delivered the Pongal Message. A Cultural feast was laid out in the auditorium where the messages of the Season were presented through a series of songs, dances and skit. The Students of Guruvayurappan Institute of Management also celebrated at the Campus, Pongal -the farmers festival, with all traditional gaiety and fun on 9^th  January 2025. Early morning, they prepared Pongal at the Campus and were ready to greet the Sun after the Pongal had over flowed. The Campus wore a festive look with colours and Kolam of traditional Tamil Nadu. There were Competitions in Sweet Pongal prepareations and Rangoli Carpeting. The students organised a series of traditional dance forms, Music and skits, highlighting the various facets of this very important celebration of Tamil Nadu. Dr. Vinod U, Principal, GIM greeted the students on this festive occasion and wished everyone all the blessings of the season. He urged the students to continue the good work they are doing in the Campus and outside. Organising programmes of this nature helps students develop their event management skills and also practice management techniques they learn in the classrooms.

The students had decorated the Campus, walkway and corridors in traditional style with Kolam and agricultural produces.
