PONGAL CELEBRATIONS AT GIM
The students of Guruvayurappan Institute of Management celebrated Pongal at the campus on 9th January 2026. Pongal – the farmers’ festival – was celebrated with all traditional gaiety and fun. Early in the morning, they prepared Pongal at the campus and were ready to greet the Sun after the Pongal had overflowed. The campus wore a festive look with colours and kolam of traditional Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Sankar N, Assistant Professor, GIM, urged the students to continue the good work they are doing on the campus and outside. Organising programmes of this nature helps students develop their event management skills and also practice management techniques they learn in the classrooms. The students had decorated the campus, walkways, and corridors in traditional style with kolam and agricultural produce
