SARGOTSAV’26 – One Day Intra-Collegiate Cultural Programme

The Guruvayurappan Institute of Management successfully organized its much-awaited one-day intra-collegiate cultural fest, Sargotsav’26, on 25th March 2026 at the GIM campus. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Vinod U, Principal, GIM, who also presided over the function. Sargotsav, conducted annually, serves as a vibrant platform to discover and nurture the hidden talents of students. Conceptualized, planned, and executed entirely by the students, the event significantly contributes to the holistic development of MBA students by enhancing their creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills—qualities essential for effective management professionals. Highlighting the importance of performing arts in shaping well-rounded individuals, the event celebrated India’s rich cultural diversity while encouraging young minds to express their artistic abilities.

Ms. Sruthy K, Assistant Professor and Faculty Coordinator, motivated students to actively engage in such co-curricular activities. The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Tania Sabu (I MBA), followed by an overview of the events by Ms. Arya Mohan (II MBA). Mr. Sarath (II MBA) delivered the vote of thanks.

The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from all students across a wide range of on-stage and off-stage competitions, including solo and group singing, classical and group dance, fashion show, poetry and story writing, pencil drawing, painting, poster making, photography, art from waste, mehendi, and nail art. As an annual celebration, Sargotsav continues to inspire budding managers to showcase their aesthetic talents while fostering creativity, confidence, and collaborative spirit.
